At Fusebill, we have always taken pride in our collaborative mindset and how much our employees love coming to work every day. But now, we have even more reason to be proud–Fusebill has been named a recipient of the Employees' Choice Awards 2018-19.

The annual competition organized by the Ottawa Business Journal, the Ottawa Board of Trade and sponsored by Meldrum Horne & Associates, was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the National Capital Region, benefiting the region’s economy, its workforce and businesses. A total of 10 companies in the Ottawa area are being honored.

“It’s a great honour for OBJ to present these awards again along with our partners at the Ottawa Board of Trade. What really distinguishes these awards, in my mind, is the recipients are determined based on direct input from employees,” says Michael Curran, OBJ publisher.

According to our employees themselves, what makes working at Fusebill so rewarding is not only the exciting nature of the work they are doing but the incredible team they get to work alongside.

“It’s fast-paced and there’s always new challenges every day,” says Software Engineer David Larkin. “It’s a fun and engaging environment with a top-notch executive team.”

According to Subscription Billing Consultant Bianca Faidutti, “The team effort that goes into everything is remarkable. It’s always a good day at Fusebill.”

“The team here at Fusebill is a pleasure to work with,” says Robert Lance, Technical Support Specialist. “It’s a great feeling that I truly have an effect on the product and business operations.”

“There is a lot of flexibility and creativity in the workplace, and we have built a very strong team of individuals here. Working at Fusebill allows you to feel like you’re a true contributor to a tremendously valuable platform for a wide range of customers and companies.” chimed in Justine Dennis, Client Success Manager.

Organizations from across the region took part in the survey process that determined the list of award recipients. The process consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The scores from these surveys determined the top organizations and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey, and analysis process and determined the final rankings.

To be considered for the awards, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements: Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity; Be a publicly or privately held business; Have a facility in the National Capital Region; Have at least 15 employees working in the National Capital Region; and must be in business a minimum of one year.

The recipients of the Employees' Choice Awards will be celebrated at a cocktail awards reception on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Marshes Golf Club. They will also be profiled in OBJ’s January 2019 issue.
